The one piece that I've had on my wish list for a while now is a suede dress. I first noticed this one by Free People, but they were sold out at the time and I had forgotten about it until I stumbled upon this one by Zara. I prefer the Free People because the option to wear it as a standalone piece is there vs. this one with a deeper plunging V in both the front and back. Regardless, I've found ways to style it and one of them includes wearing it over a feminine frilled blouse. I've seen very bohemian ways of styling this suede dress, but my natural instinct is to retreat back to what I'm most comfortable in and it's something more femme.

I noticed that the cut of this dress is a bit squared so it's not the most flattering on shorter frames. I went with a pair of velvet embellished booties to add some length to my body. I would have loved to wear this outfit without opaque tights but it's still a bit chilly here in the city so I'll have to wait a few more weeks (or even two more months) before I can free the legs. I also purchased this in a beautiful rosy blush which I brought with me on my trip to Montreal so you'll see it in an upcoming post!
