3 Beauty Brands For September
1. Glossier – With all of the hype over Glossier products, I had to try it myself to see if it was all true. They don't currently ship to Canada, but luckily my cousin was able to help me bring my order back from New York. So far, I've only tested the Milky Jelly Cleanser and Generation G Matte Lipstick but can already say that I love them. This gentle face wash has become my go-to morning cleanser (I still use Proactiv at night) and one pump is all I need to rid any leftover makeup and leaves my skin feeling smooth. The lipstick is more like a lip balm/stain duo — It glides on and leaves your lips soft, but with a tint of natural colour. I ordered it in the shade "Like" and it's the perfect lipstick if you're going for something au natural. I can't wait to start using the Priming Moisturizer and Balm Dotcom, and hope that these items will ship to Canada before I finish them!
2. Peach & Lily – I've used products from Peach & Lily in the past and loved them so much that I couldn't wait to try these two new eye care products that they carry. The Shangpree Gold Black Pearl Hydrogel Eye Mask is truly unique. The essence is stored in these jelly-like patches and after 20-minutes under the eye, you immediately feel rejuvenated. I've been using these once every week and it gives me the chance to sneak in little moments of relaxation and enjoy a spa-like experience right at home. I finish it off with this Cremorlab Wrinkle-Off Eye Cream which is extremely hydrating and gentle on the eyes. I use this every night before bed and also in the morning as a primer under my eyes.
3. Fresh – When you get the chance to redeem your Sephora Beauty Insider points for Fresh products, you always say "I do". I claimed this anti-aging set for 500 points and couldn't be happier with this decision. It came with this Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask, Age-Delay Firming Serum, Age-Delay Cream and Sugar Nourishing Lip Balm. The wrinkles are slowly coming so let's hope these ninja products fight them away!
