Whether it be a day trip to a coffee shop, a night out on the town or traveling, I always rely on a few key products. Here’s a round-up of my favourite beauty products that I take along with me wherever I go.
Smith’s Rosebud Salve Lip Balm —
I’ve already mentioned this in my 5 Skincare Products post, but this is my miracle balm and it’s something that I keep on me at all times. I purchased multiple so I can have one in every single one of my purses and at my workstation. One of my biggest pet peeves is chapped lips so I always have to have some sort of hydrating product to keep my pout soft whenever I'm out and about.
Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Lipstick In ‘N9 Copper Pink’ —
This ultra-creamy moisturizing lipstick has been one of my favourites since I received it in my 2014 Sephora birthday gift bag. It glides on effortlessly and doesn’t require a lot of precision since it’s such a faint colour. I love the softness and natural tint it adds to my lips, especially because they usually get very pale and chapped in the winter months. It's the perfect colour, especially when you want to wear something from day to night.
Nars Blush Stick In ‘Orgasm’ —
The holy grail of blushes. I recently acquired this blush stick that apparently also offers other purposes, such as highlighting and sculpting. I love this one because it’s so much easier to carry around and apply. I just dab it onto the apples of my cheeks and blend with my fingers. It gives a very subtle soft and shimmery effect that will last throughout the day. I prefer this cream stick over the powder blush especially when I'm on-the-go so I can lose the blush brush altogether.
H&M Hand Cream In ‘Cashmere Haze’ —
I’ve always kept a tube of L’Occitane shea butter hand cream with me, but recently I discovered this nourishing hand cream at the H&M relaunch where they unveiled their home and beauty collection. I sampled the product and found that it was extremely moisturizing and softened my hands the second I applied it. The packaging is simple yet beautiful and so easy to just toss in your bag. It was $5.99 so I couldn’t help but pick up two tubes!
Stila Stay-All-Day Liquid Eyeliner In ‘Jet Black’ —
You’ll never know when the wing on your cat eye will require a touch-up. I’ve been using this eyeliner for years now and is the only one I can depend on for the perfect cat-eye.
